Headed down to Northern California for a friends wedding at a private lake in the Mendocino Forest. The place was remote and beautiful. The small lake had a healthy population of Small Mouth Bass and tons of sunfish. I grabbed a canoe early one morning and caught and released several on poppers before breakfast. It’s fun catching Bass on a 3wt! Good times indeed.
